Roasting Roots is a project led by two Colombian brothers and a Swedish partner, dedicated to bringing high-quality Colombian specialty coffee to Stockholm. Our mission is to build community and share authentic coffee with purpose.
What inspired you to start this business?
One day we shared a cup of Colombian coffee with our colleagues, and their curiosity and excitement about its unique flavor inspired us to take this project further.What challenges did you face starting a business abroad?
Our first challenge was the difference in culture and language. We continue to face challenges, but knowing that we are building something that will serve as a bridge between two cultures keeps us moving forward.What advice would you give to other expats wanting to start a business?
Our advice is: don’t give up. Learn from every challenge and use it as an opportunity to build something greater.Any resources or networks that helped you along the way?
AI has helped us a lot in creating content, and word of mouth from our friends has also been a big support.
